SESSION FIVE - SUNDAY FEBRUARY 22, 2009 
Forgiveness Mark 11:25
Forgiving past hurts and requesting forgiveness for any wrong done to your spouse.

SESSION SIX - SUNDAY MARCH 8, 2009 
A Better Way of Loving 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Begin loving unconditionally and selflessly as we reflect God's love for us.

 

 

 

At the end of the seminar, you'll definitely know how to better love your spouse unconditionally! 

Each FIREPROOF Your Marriage study session lasts approximately 90 minutes and is organized into five sections:

Soundtrack Cut
A song from the movie soundtrack will be played each week with the lyrics projected on the screen. Each song reinforces a teaching point from the class.

Video Clip
A powerful clip from the movie FIREPROOF will be shown each week.

Discussion
The first part of the discussion will be based on the FIREPROOF video clip, followed by discussion about Scriptures that teach on a subject related to the video clip. 

Illustration
Interesting statistics, a Bible story, research or a real-life story is presented as an illustration of the Biblical truths being taught in the session.

Application
A three-part Application exercise is included in the Participant's Guide - one for him, one for her and one for both. Couples are encouraged to complete the Application section during the week following each session.

 

If the session doesn't end too late, it would be great if couples took a little time to enjoy a meal (or at least a cup of coffee) together to discuss the lesson each week!
